Vladimir Yuryevich Vyatkin is a Russian photojournalist. "His excellent command of stylistic techniques and his own unique perspective on the world around him allow him to shoot like no one else, rightfully making him the most creative photo reporter." In his photographic work, Vladimir Vyatkin prefers to cover socio-social themes, art, and sports. He has developed a style of neo-pictorial photography.
Vladimir Vyatkin: I teach students to survive.
"There are many good young photographers, but they shoot intuitively, by inspiration, with feelings and sensations, not with their minds. They need to develop the ability to think. Not learning photography is not an option. I teach others, but I also learn, I learn all my life. I haven't mastered everything yet. But you also can't teach photography. You either have it or you don't. You can't teach someone to play the violin if they don't have a musical ear, but you can teach them to understand and love music. I teach the ability to think in photographic images."
