Sports Photography Course Program

This course is designed for prepared photographers who wish to specialize in sports photography and see their future in this field.
In this course, we will study the specifics of shooting various sports: football, futsal, hockey, figure skating, tennis and table tennis, swimming, sailing, running, skiing, boxing, various martial arts, cheerleading, and much, much more.
We will also consider parasports: sled hockey, wheelchair dance, wheelchair rugby and basketball, and other types.
A mandatory part of the theoretical component will be technical aspects of shooting: using both standard photographic equipment and non-standard techniques.
The course will also introduce students to the best global and Russian names in the world of sports photography. Participants will take part in sports photography competitions.
A mandatory requirement of the course is completing credit assignments - tasks involving shooting various sports. First-year students complete the year by submitting a course project on any sport or athlete/team. The second year and the final diploma project also involve creating a photo story about a sport/athlete/team.
Upon completion, the student will have a portfolio of sports photographs that allows them to pursue shooting any kind of sports.
Tuition fee: 8,500 rubles per month. The program is two years long – from September through May, with a break for summer vacation. The fee includes 3 sessions per month with a curator according to the curriculum described below, as well as 3 lectures per month by renowned photographers.
If you cannot attend a class in person or online, no problem – it will be available as a recording in your personal account the very next day.
