Alexander Petrosyan
Alexander Petrosyan, born in 1965, began to pursue photography seriously in 2000. From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a photojournalist for the city weekly Moy Rayon, and since 2008, he has been working for the publishing house Kommersant.

In magazines: Newsweek, National Geographic, GEO, Russky Reporter, Ogonyok, Den'gi, Vlast'; and in newspapers: Kommersant, Izvestia, Argumenty i Fakty, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Delovoy Peterburg, and many others.
Awards
- 2009, 2012: First Open National Award "Best Photographer" — 1st place in the "Architecture" category; 1st and 2nd place in the "Genre" category.
- 2009: Grand Prix of the Photojournalism Development Foundation Award, also 1st place in the "Everyday Life" and "Nature & Environment" categories; 3rd place in "Culture & Art."
- 2008: Winner of the Second All-Russian Photo Contest "My City. A View Through the Lens."
- 2007: St. Petersburg Award "Photographer of the Year" (category: Photo Reportage).
- 2006: St. Petersburg Award "Photographer of the Year" (category: Photo Reportage).
- 2003: Award of Excellence in the "Photojournalism" category at the 25th World Competition "Society of New Design" in Syracuse, New York, USA.
In 2011, the publishing house Medny Vsadnik released Alexander Petrosyan's book of photographs Piter. In 2016, Galeriya Pechati publishing house released his second book, Kunstkamera.
