Alexander Smirnov

Biography:
Member of the Russian Union of Artists (2005). Born in 1963 in Leningrad. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics (1988) and later from the Yu. A. Galperin Faculty of Photo Correspondents at the St. Petersburg Union of Journalists (2004). Worked as an engineer at state enterprises (1984-1994) and as a manager at private firms from 1994. Currently the General Director of LLC "RASKON". Member of the VDK Photo Club since 2003. Author and participant in over 30 solo and group fine art photography exhibitions. Recipient of numerous awards from Russian and international photography competitions.
