Before dedicating himself to photography, Stanislav Marchenko was a professional designer, completing projects for clients including the Baltic Shipyard, the Museum of Railway Transport in St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Payphones, the October Railway, the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Lenexpo, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and others. In 2004, he graduated from the Yu. A. Galperin Faculty of Photo Correspondents at the St. Petersburg Union of Journalists. He is a photographer for the Voda Zhivaya (Living Water) magazine of the St. Petersburg Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church.
